TR CU 032/2012 "On the safety of equipment operating under excessive pressure"
This Technical Regulation establishes uniform safety requirements for equipment operating under excessive pressure, put into circulation and intended for use in the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (hereinafter referred to as the Union) mandatory for application and execution in the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (hereinafter referred to as equipment).
If other technical regulations of the Union (Customs Union) have been adopted in respect of equipment, establishing requirements for it, then such equipment must also comply with the requirements of these technical regulations of the Union (Customs Union).
- This technical regulation establishes safety requirements for equipment in the development (design), production (manufacture), as well as requirements for marking equipment in order to protect human life and health, property, prevent actions that mislead consumers.
This Technical Regulation shall apply to the following types of equipment:
- Receptacles intended for compressed, liquefied, pressurized gases and vapours used for group 1 working media and having:
- a design pressure greater than 0.05 MPa, a capacity greater than 0.001m3 and the product of the design pressure by a capacity value greater than 0.0025 MPam3;
- design pressure exceeding 20 MPa, capacity exceeding 0.0001m3 up to 0.001 m3 inclusive.Categories of receptacles intended for gases and used for working media of group 1 are given in Table 1 of Annex No. 1 to this Technical Regulation;
- receptacles intended for compressed, liquefied, dissolved under pressure gases and vapours used for working media of group 2 and having:
- a design pressure greater than 0.05 MPa, a capacity greater than 0.001m3 and the product of the design pressure by a capacity value greater than 0.005 MPam3;
- design pressure exceeding 100 MPa, capacity exceeding 0.0001m3 up to 0.001 m3 inclusive.Categories of receptacles intended for gases and used for working environments of group 2 are given in Table 2 of Annex No. 1 to this Technical Regulation;
- receptacles intended for liquids used for group 1 working media and having:
- a design pressure greater than 0.05 MPa, a capacity greater than 0.001m3 and the product of the design pressure by a capacity value greater than 0.02 MPam3;
- design pressure exceeding 50 MPa, capacity over 0.0001m3 up to 0.001 m3 inclusive.Categories of receptacles intended for liquids and used for working media of group 1 are given in table 3 of Annex No. 1 to this technical regulation;
- receptacles intended for liquids used for working media of group 2 and having:
- a design pressure greater than 1 MPa, a capacity greater than 0.01m3 and the product of the design pressure by a capacity value greater than 1 MPam3;
- design pressure exceeding 100 MPa, capacity exceeding 0.0001m3 up to 0.01 m3 inclusive.Categories of receptacles intended for liquids and used for working environments of group 2 are given in table 4 of Annex No. 1 to this technical regulation;
- boilers having a capacity of more than 0.002m3, designed to produce hot water with a temperature of more than 110 ° C, or steam, the overpressure of which exceeds 0.05 MPa, as well as receptacles with fire heating having a capacity of more than 0.002 m 3.Categories of steam, hot water boilers and receptacles with fire heating are given in table 5 of Annex No. 1 to this technical regulation;
- Piping and fittings having a design pressure exceeding 0.05 MPa, a nominal diameter of more than 25 mm, intended for compressed, liquefied, pressurized gases and vapours and used for working media of group 1.The categories of piping and fittings intended for compressed, liquefied, dissolved gases and vapours and used for working media of group 1 are given in Table 6 of Annex 1 to this Technical Regulation;
- piping and fittings having a design pressure exceeding 0.05 MPa, a nominal diameter of more than 32 mm and a product of the design pressure and nominal diameter values exceeding 100 MPamm, intended for compressed, liquefied, dissolved under pressure gases and vapours and used for the working media of group 2. are given in Table 7 of Annex No. 1 to this Technical Regulation;
- pipelines and fittings having a design pressure of more than 0.05 MPa, a nominal diameter of more than 25 mm and a product of the design pressure value and nominal diameter values exceeding 200 MPamm, intended for liquids and used for working media of group 1.Categories of pipelines and fittings intended for liquids and used for working media of group 1 are given in Table 8 of Annex No. 1 to this technical regulation;
- pipelines and fittings having a design pressure of more than 1 MPa, a nominal diameter of more than 200 mm and a product of the design pressure value and nominal diameter values above 500 MPamm intended for liquids and used for working media of group 2.Categories of pipelines and fittings intended for liquids and used for working media of group 2 are given in Table 9 of Annex No. 1 to this Technical Regulation;
- elements of equipment (assembly units) and components for it, withstanding the effects of pressure exceeding 0.05 MPa;
- deleted. - Decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated 23.04.2021 No. 49;
- displaying and safety devices, with the exception of devices related to measuring instruments;
- hyperbaric chambers (except single medical);
- Safety devices and appliances.
- This Technical Regulation does not apply to the following products:
- Main pipelines, in-field and local distribution pipelines intended for the transport of gas, oil and other products, with the exception of equipment used in pressure control stations or compressor stations;
- gas distribution networks and gas consumption networks;
- equipment specially designed for use in the field of nuclear energy, equipment working with a radioactive environment;
- receptacles operating under the pressure created by the explosion inside them in accordance with the technological process or by combustion in the mode of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis;
- equipment specially designed for use on sea and river vessels and other floating facilities and facilities for underwater use;
- Braking equipment for rolling stock of railway transport, motor vehicles and other means of transport;
- receptacles specially designed for use on aircraft and other aircraft;
- equipment for defense purposes;
- parts of machinery which are not independent receptacles (pump or turbine housings, cylinders of steam, hydraulic, internal combustion, air machinery and compressor engines);
- medical single hyperticulos chambers;
- equipment with aerosol sprayers;
- sheaths of high-voltage electrical equipment (switchgear, distribution mechanisms, transformers and rotating electrical machines);
- sheaths and casings of elements of electrical energy transmission systems (cable products of power supply and communication cables) operating under excessive pressure;
- equipment manufactured (produced) from a non-metallic flexible (elastic) shell;
- exhaust or suction mufflers;
- containers or siphons for carbonated beverages;
- Networks for the supply, distribution and discharge of water with a temperature of 110 °C or less, as well as supply conduits in hydropower installations and related equipment parts;
- heating devices and pipelines in water heating systems of buildings and structures;
- equipment and components of equipment for powering engines with gaseous fuel (compressed natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (or liquefied petroleum gas), liquefied natural gas, dimethyl ether fuel), specially designed for use on wheeled vehicles;
- support-suspension systems of pipelines and their elements.
